The Abortionist's Daughter by Elisabeth Hyde
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
This was an interesting read, although not quite a thrilling "who done it". The main thing about the book and this author's writing is that she presents a topic from many different angles without any prejudice on her part. Controversial subjects in the book (hope I didn't leave any out) are:
drugs, pornography, under age sex, stalking, adultery, murder, police not following rules, abortion, anti abortion, consequences for illegal or self abortion, consequences for allowing a Down Syndrome pregnancy.
Megan is a teenaged girl whose mother, an abortion doctor, was found dead in her pool. Some interesting twists in the story. All in all a thoroughly satisfying read.
