The Birth House by Ami McKay
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
I like this story and how it was written. Although the subject matter was not actually my favourite topic, I admit that I enjoyed it and its informative nature. Learning how the women lived and suffered in Cape Breton in the 1916-1918's was especially interesting. It has also given me a better perspective on birthing and midwifery. All in all a very good read.
