The Pawn by Steven James
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Very good murder mystery. Patrick Bowers is a criminologist whose wife
had died about five months earlier, leaving him with a step daughter. He becomes embroiled in a case with some very bad guys and even his step daughter is in danger. I will continue reading this series as it has very good points, believable plot and basically no descriptive sex scenes that have nothing to do with the main story.
