Private Peaceful by Michael Morpurgo

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I enjoyed this simple story of a boy's life before and during WWI in England. As well as being just a nice, clean story, it also had a message of wrongdoing that happened to English soldiers. An interesting account of WWI. I found it quite believable and felt very close to my grandfather while reading it.
