The Sisters from Hardscrabble Bay by Beverly JensenMy rating: 5 of 5 stars
Excellent, down to earth story about two sisters and brother whose mother died giving birth to their new sister. How their lives unfolded and what hard times they had. Its a homey, curl yourself up by the fire type of story, with real people and real struggles.
