Family Matters by Rohinton Mistry
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Everything we do has consequences. Kumie has decided that she doesn't want to care for her aging father although she is single and she and her brother have a large apartment. They palm him off on their younger sister who lives in two rooms with her husband and two children.
How that one things affects all the lives of the people in the family, their friends and employers is just amazing and a thoroughly good read. I would say that its a book that everyone should read and the younger the better. It is a true lesson.
