Among the Mad by Jacqueline Winspear
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Another winning story by Jacqueline Winspear. In this installment Maisie is recruited by Scotland Yard to help with an investigation. A threatening note has been received and Maisie's name was mentioned in the note. In order to make people believe that the threat is serious, the mysterious person has been killing animals and birds with what appears to be some sort of mustard gas substance.
While in the midst of her work with Scotland Yard, it seems that Maisie has picked up a love interest, well, on his part anyway. Looking forward to the next in the series.
