My rating: 5 of 5 stars

An absolutely not put downable book. Right from the first page you are completely drawn in. A single mom with two eccentric children, one a ten year old girl math prodigy and the other a goth boy teenager, plus a big drooling dog named Norman. She struggles with everyday life until one of her cleaning clients closes the door in her face.

A completely delightful read.
