The Little Giant of Aberdeen County by Tiffany Baker
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
Truly Plaice's mother dies in childbirth. Truly is a huge baby, but even so, her mother had a breast tumor and would have died quite soon regardless. Truly has a pituitary disorder causing her to be larger than average.
Truly's sister, Serena Jane, is a beauty and they are raised by their father until his death. Serena Jane is adopted by a couple who adore her and Truly is sent to live on a farm with a couple and their daughter.
A very good family saga.
