Review: A Town Called Solace

A Town Called Solace A Town Called Solace by Mary Lawson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

A terrific story. This writer would appeal to Canadians and especially those who have been in the north and especially northern Ontario. She has what I call Canadian speak.

Liam, now in his thirties and newly divorced finds that he has inherited a house from a lady who lived next door to his family when he was very young. The house is located in a remote northern village called Solace in Ontario, Canada.

Liam doesn't really want to set down roots and plans to sell the house right away but before that can happen there are things in the community that pull him in and require his assistance.

I loved this story and love this writer.
